I am currently still overhauling gibbz.com. With personal and research considerations, progress has been slow. I decided to dump the facebook theme for this new one. I’ll see how I like it.

Gibbz.com is currently undergoing an extensive site redesign. I haven’t posted here in awhile, but will do so more regularly. I have changed the blog to look like facebook. Not sure if I will keep it this way, but it looked neat so it stays for now.

Tornado on the Ground!!
I’m sure many of you have heard a local television meteorologist (perhaps Mike Morgan) yell “tornado on the ground!!” during severe weather coverage. For some, this may bring about excitement, while for others it may trigger fear or dread. I get a completely different response all together. I feel a visceral anger and intolerable annoyance every time I hear this phrase. Carless Campus?
If your school offered you a free bike and lock, would you agree to leave your car off the campus. For 60% of the incoming student body at Ripon College in Wisconsin, the answer is a resounding yes. The details of this creative “get green” campaign are detailed by USA Today. Similar programs are in effect at campuses in New York, Georgia, Pennsylvania, and Alabama, to name a few.

Gibbz.com can now be easily accessed from any mobile internet device, such as an iPhone or Blackberry.
